Sureseal is an intramammary sealer used in the prevention of mastitis in dairy cows during their dry period until shortly after calving.
Active ingredient:
4g syringes containing 650 mg/g Bismuth subnitrate
Administration:
Sureseal is to be used after the last milking of lactation (drying off). It is important to clean and disinfect teat before administration of syringe. Administer one syringe of sureseal into each quarter, making sure not to introduce dirt, bacteria or infection when inserting the syringe (using aseptic techniques). DO NOT massage the teat as this will displace the sealant – increasing the risk of mastitis and defeating the purpose of using sureseal tubes. 120 syringes per tub. Always ready the label before use.
Withdrawal: Meat, offal and Milk: 0 days
